AMICA MOVES SALES, MARKETING AND SERVICE TO NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

Following Amica’s acquisition of CDA in December 2015, the Amica UK business has been successfully transferred to CDA’s impressive facility in Langar, Nottinghamshire with effect from January 2017.

Amica sales, marketing, and customer service operations, along with the UK’s comprehensive stock holding, have been relocated. David Vincent remains as national account manager and is joined by Steve Stroud, formerly of Samsung and then Viking Appliances, as the national account manager for distribution. Amica and CDA marketing will be headed by Steve Corbett.

Managing Director, Simon Emmons explains, “Acquiring CDA delivered some palpable economies of scale for Amica and provides the perfect infrastructure from which to develop and grow the brand. Amica customers have been reassured by the speedy unification and are very excited about the new opportunities in this next evolutionary stage for the brand. In the next few months we will be announcing new products, compelling promotions, launching a brand-new brochure and opening the brand new Amica head office showroom.”

Blue Light Shines on Floor to Signal End of Wash on New Integrated Dishwasher

Amica’s new fully-integrated (behind a cupboard door) dishwasher features an innovative Blue-Dot of light that shines on the floor in front of the dishwasher to indicate when the wash cycle is complete.

The ZIM688E dishwasher achieves an A+++ for energy efficiency provides light inside and there are choices for flexible Zone washing. Adjustable basket space and a MaxiSpace3 (3 positions) cutlery tray and Upper Rack Mug Shelves provide a host of loading options.

FIVE YEAR WARRANTY ON SELECTED LAUNDRY PRODUCTS LAUNCHED AT CIH SHOW

Amica household appliances, one of Europe’s fastest growing manufacturers is now supporting laundry products with a five year parts and labour warranty. Launched at the CIH Show in Birmingham, the warranty will be available on all laundry products in the Amica catalogue with a 7kg capacity and above.

New Washer Dryers from Amica

Three new freestanding washer dryers offer an A rated 30 minute wash and dry solution to wettest winter on record!

Consumers looking for a cost efficient and immediate alternative to waiting for a change in the British weather might consider one of three new freestanding washer dryers from Europe’s leading manufacturer Amica.

Available in a choice of three wash-load sizes; 9kg or 8kg (both dry a 6kg load) or the smaller 7kg option (dries 5kg load) the three new machines share features such as; Extra Rinse, Pre Wash and an Anti-Allergic Rinse from a choice of 21 (9kg) or 15 (7kg and 8Kg) washing programmes. Common drying functions include; Cupboard Dry or Iron Dry settings along with a timed 30 Minute dry, a Pause feature, Auto-Sensor and a Start Delay/Finish Time option along with a quiet 58 Db noise level whilst washing.
